Refund and Returns Policy
All Sales Are Final
All online purchases from Hatch Chile Express are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, personal preference, or products ordered incorrectly by the customer.
Because many of our products are food, agricultural, perishable, or fragile, they cannot be restocked or resold after shipment.
Damaged, Spoiled, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery if an item:
- Arrives damaged or spoiled
- Is defective or unusable
- Is different from what you ordered
- Is missing from your shipment
Please provide your name, order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping box.
Do not discard the product or packaging until we have reviewed your request.
After reviewing the claim, Hatch Chile Express may provide a replacement, partial refund, full refund, or another appropriate resolution. FTC guidance distinguishes damaged, defective, and incorrectly supplied merchandise from ordinary returns.
Order Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.
We may cancel an order that has not yet been processed, packed, or shipped. Once an order has entered fulfillment or has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
Unavailable or Unfulfilled Orders
If Hatch Chile Express cannot fulfill or ship an order, we will cancel the affected items and refund the applicable product price and shipping charges.
Federal rules require online sellers that cannot ship merchandise as promised to obtain the customer’s agreement to a delay or issue the appropriate refund.
Shipping and Delivery Issues
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates. Weather, carrier delays, agricultural availability, and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery.
Contact us if:
- Tracking shows the order as delivered, but it was not received
- The package appears lost in transit
- The shipping box arrives visibly damaged
We will review the tracking and order information and help determine the appropriate next step.
Hatch Chile Express is not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. Additional shipping charges may apply if an order must be reshipped.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Processing times vary depending on PayPal, the customer’s bank, or the card issuer. Shipping charges will only be refunded when Hatch Chile Express approves them because of damage, an incorrect shipment, or an order that could not be fulfilled.
Returns
Do not mail products back to Hatch Chile Express unless we specifically request the return and provide instructions.
Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or refunded.
